El presidente surcoreano, Yoon Suk-yeol, afirmó este martes que pondrá fin a la Ley Marcial una vez que se reúnan todos los miembros del Gobierno, informó la agencia surcoreana Yonhap. Yoon realizó este anuncio en una comparecencia por televisión de madrugada, en la que dijo que las tropas que se ocupaban de garantizar la ley marcial se han retirado a sus cuarteles. El presidente había decretado la ley marcial horas antes en un movimiento que causó conmoción en el país y que provocó las protestas de centenares de ciudadanos que se congregaron ante la Asamblea Nacional, el Parlamento del país en Seúl.
